Taco CA Expansion Tank

CA Series

In this design, the air is held captive on the shell side, with all expanded fluid directed into the bladder (in CA models) or the diaphragm chamber (in the CX Series). Air and water are permanently separated, so no absorption can take place during the system cycle.

CX Series

Taco CX Expansion Tank has a Heavy-Duty Butyl Rubber Diaphragm "Limited Acceptance” Design—For small heating installations and most chilled water applications where smaller air volumes and expanded fluid volumes are needed. Shell: Fabricated Steel, Designed and Constructed per ASME Section VIII Div. 1 Standard Diaphragm: 125 PSIG (862 kPa)

Taco PAX Expansion Tank

PAX Series

Taco PAX Expansion Tank: These bladder-type tanks provide permanent separation of air and water. All wetted components are built of FDA-approved materials. Available in 11 models to meet all your potable water needs. They feature a removable heavy-duty Butyl rubber bladder, fabricated steel shell designed and constructed per ASME Section VIII Div 1. Each is factory pre-charged to job specifications. Standard bladder: 125 PSIG (862 kPa). Optional bladder: 150 PSIG (1,034 kPa). Also available in NSF61

Taco CW Expansion Tank

CW Series

Taco CW Expansion Tank: Water expands into bladder, air precharge on shell side. Designed and constructed to the requirement of Section VIII, Division I of the ASME Boiler and Pressure Vessel Code. All wetted surfaces of FDA approved materials for potable water applications. Internal bladder field replaceable.

PS Series

Taco Plain Steel Expansion Tanks are fabricated in accordance with ASME Section VIII Div. 1 to assure quality and performance. They are available painted, in sizes from 15 GAL. to 500 GAL. capacity. Optional saddles for horizontal installation are also available.
